6/25/09 New Demo reel. Animation Mentor starts on monday!

11/03/08 FOUR NEW ANIMATIONS ADDED

I haven't updated my site an a while & its because I've been real busy with a few projects. I've been working as a 3D character artist for Tre Azam's company "Treite Productions". On my Animation Page I have added 2 of the characters that I have modeled, textured, and rigged for an upcoming TV show in the UK called "Beats, Rhymes, and Life". Also, you can watch a 15 second free-running/parkour animation that I created using one of these characters.

In addition the my recent work, I have finally uploaded my first animated short, "Midnight Snack". This was created using Flash back in 2002, but was never online until now. The animation quality is poor, but it's interesting to see how far I've come over the past six years.

10/31/07 "WAH-MART" webisode #1 is FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!

5 months in the making! i just uploaded the first webisode to youtube. I'm gonna go skiing now & i'll try to get a more high-quality version up later. ENJOY!

6/9/07 Embarking on a new project

I've decided to start my own 3D animated series. The show will be called "WAH-MART" and it takes place in a giant shopping center. Each episode will be only a couple minutes long... think of it as an animated comic strip. I will be modeling, rigging, texturing, animating, and compositing... And i'll be voicing each character. This is a huge commitment and I hope for the first episode to be out in a few months. I'll keep ya posted! (if anyone reads this stuff anyways)

6/9/07 New animation added

I just recently realized that my animation portfolio was missing a very important piece of material... A character interacting with weight. What kind of animator hasn't done something like that? So instead of doing the overly done "character carries a box across the screen", I used a different object. Check it out here: TOILET CARRY

3/1/07 New WIP animation from TV show "The Office"

I just added the first 10 seconds of a 30 second animation that I've been working on. The sound clip is from the TV show "The Office". The original version is shot in a car from behind the two characters (if you listen closely you can hear cars driving by). In MY version it takes place in 2 chairs at a table. Here it is: NOBODY LIKES BEETS . Hope you like it... I'll try to get the rest done ASAP.

2/21/07 "The Land of I" Re-animated

In October I was contracted to create a 1 minute animation for a children's TV show pilot called "The Land of I". However, I only had a month to create it and I was never satisfied with the quality of the result. So, after re-modeling and re-rigging the character, I decided to go in and re-animate a segment. 12/24/06 "My Cousin Vinny "

I added a new animation clip to my website. Check it out here. I started acting out everything on camera before I animate and I think the results are a lot better. I think I'm really starting to get the hang of this pose-to-pose animation. Please check it out, its my best work yet!

10/12/06 "The Land of I"

By using Maya and After Effects, I created a 17 second sample of the children's animated TV show pilot, "The Land of I". Watch it HERE. After this was finished, I completely re-modeled and re-rigged the characters. They are now more detailed, and I've been told that they're more "cute". Check back for the updates.

9/12/06 New animation!

I added new animation to the website. Check it out HERE. ALSO, big news... I have been contracted to work on an animated children's TV show pilot that will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival in France. I am the only animator and I will be creating the 1 minute intro for the show. I have about a month to complete the animation... so I will be incredibly busy for the rest of September. I will post the animation when it is complete in October.

6/27/06 New demo reel is up!

I completed some new character animation, so I decided to update my demo reel again. You can download the large DIVX file HERE. Hopefully this one will finally land me a job!

6/07/06 FINALLY!!

5/09/06 Another animation clip!

I just completed another animation with the same character from before. The sound clip is a continuation from the "Anchorlady" clip. Check it out here.

5/03/06 Been real busy!

Over the past couple of weeks I have been teaching myself how to use XSI. I really like it so far.. ands it's not too difficult to switch over from Maya. I just finished my first animation in XSI today, check it out here!! (the character & character setup was provided by Marcelo R. Ortiz).

I still have big plans in getting this website together.,, so keep checking back
